Advanced Audio Systems LLC. (“FuneralVue”, “we”, “use”, or “our”) developed and operates this mobile application (the “App”) for use by authorized organizations to live stream or record ceremonial events, such as funerals. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through the App.

Information we collect

The App does not collect personal data for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes. However, it requires access to specific device features to fulfill its core functionality.

Camera access

Purpose

The App uses the device's camera exclusively for live streaming or recording ceremonial events such as funerals.

How it’s used

The camera is only activated when the authorized user initiates a stream or recording. It is not accessed in the background or for any other purpose.

Microphone access

Purpose

The App uses the microphone to capture audio during live streams or recordings of events.

How it’s used

Audio is included only as part of video recordings or live streams and is not recorded or transmitted without user action.

Storage access

Purpose

The App accesses the device’s storage to save recorded video and audio files locally.

How it’s used

These files can then be uploaded by the user to FuneralVue’s secure online video platform. The App does not access or modify any other files on the device.

The App does not access your device’s location, contacts, call logs, or any other personal or sensitive data beyond what is described above.

How we use your information

The App uses device features and any content created by the user only to:

• Enable live streaming of ceremonial events by authorized organizations.
• Record events for later upload to FuneralVue’s secure online platform.
• Store multimedia content locally on the device for user access and management.

The App does not collect or share personal information beyond what is required for these features to function.

Data sharing and disclosure

• We do not sell, rent, or share user data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
  
• Any video or audio content uploaded through the App is managed in accordance with FuneralVue’s video hosting and platform policies.
  
• All data transmission is user-initiated and handled through secure connections where applicable.

Third-party services

If the App integrates with third-party platforms, users are encouraged to review the respective privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms not operated by Advanced Audio Systems LLC.

Children’s privacy

This App is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of all user-generated content and App functionality. This includes:

• Secure video/audio transmission protocols, where used.
• Restriction of camera and microphone access to authorized users and sessions only.
• No background collection of data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” and, where necessary, provide notice of material changes within the App or through other appropriate means.

Google Play disclosure

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, the App requests the following permissions strictly for core functionality:

• Camera: Used only for capturing video during live streaming or recording of ceremonial events.
  
• Microphone: Used only for capturing audio during live streaming or recording.
  
• Storage: Used only to save video and audio files created by the user and enable uploading them to FuneralVue’s online platform.

These permissions are never used for background data collection or any unrelated purposes.
